The de Souza Institute provides continuing education in Oncology and Palliative care to improve the quality of life for cancer and palliative care patients by educating and training the health care professionals that support them. GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN ADVANCED PRACTICE ONCOLOGY/PALLIATIVE NURSING WINDSOR UNIVERSITY

A partnership with the de Souza Institute will afford nurses seeking advanced preparation in oncology and palliative care a unique opportunity for professional development at the graduate level. This course will prepare chemotherapy/biotherapy trainers to also teach Treatment Basics: Antineoplastic Therapy in the Nononcology Setting—a four-hour ONS offering designed for nurses in other disciplines and those new to oncology. Registration deadline is July 28th for the August 10th course.

The Cancer Journey Action Group is pleased to announce the release of the Psychosocial Oncology Education Opportunities Directory / Formation en soins psychosociaux pour améliorer les soins en cancérologie on Cancer View Canada www.cancerview.ca, the information portal of the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer.
